Aloha from the Islands! As of 2016, we are still the only Lesbian Couple- owned/officiated/full-service Gay Wedding Team in the State of Hawaii, handling all your wedding needs – from planning and licensing assistance to officiating and photography. We are proud to specialize in Gay Weddings in Hawaii! We only employ gay friendly vendors but try to use primarily vendors from our LGBT community. With the passing of the Federal Marriage Equality Law, what better place to celebrate than in Hawaii?
About Us: We are the founders of the Maui Lesbian Meetup Group and encourage monthly activities for local lesbians as well as visiting tourists. We encourage a bonding within our lesbian community as well as our sister islands. We support all Positive Gay and Lesbian Adventures on Maui and encourage others to do the same. We support our community by volunteering with organizations that support our same beliefs, including preserving the ocean, encouraging our youth and small business opportunities for all.
We do travel to other islands to perform and shoot weddings, but Maui truly is where our hearts are. Contact us about your special off-island ceremony and we’ll bring the Aloha of the Islands to your Mainland Ceremony. We can assist you with any travel or excursion needs as well. Our goal is for you to have the best all-round gay travel experience with the highlight being your fabulous gay wedding in Hawaii.
Our first experience with a Hawaii gay wedding was our own back in 2007. It was so important to us to have a minister, photographer and planner that understood us and accepted us without judgement. Sure, a lot of people say “we offer Maui gay weddings” or they’re “gay friendly”, but if they’re not FAMILY, they’re just “friendly”.
We founded our companies, Aloha Maui Dream Weddings and Penny Palmer Photography and since then we’ve been helping to create romantic, intimate beach or venue ceremonies as our full time jobs. Your wedding is very important to us and will be as unique and special as you are.

We do weddings at locations such as the Sheraton Ka’anapali, Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa, Private Estates such as Oluwalu & Sugarman Estate, the Marriott Waikoloa, and even under the waterfalls of Hana… but there’s nothing more romantic than the sand between your toes as you lean in close to kiss your beloved that very first time as husband and husband or wife and wife…
